Visiting the Garden

WHERE:  16550 Center Rd. at the corner of Ladd Rd.

WHEN:  The garden is open from dawn until dusk during June, July and August or by appointment earlier in the spring or later in the fall.  The best time to cut flowers is in the cool of the morning or evening, however, you are welcome to visit whenever it is convenient.

Old Mission Flowers is a self-serve specialty cut flower garden where visitors are welcome to cut their own fresh bouquets.  The garden has carnations, coneflowers, daisies, gay feather, iris, lilies, peonies, snapdragons, roses, zinnias and many other flowers.  Of course, what is in bloom at a particular time is dependent upon the season and the weather.

Containers, water, flower preservative and scissors are available. There are also notepads and pencils for you to keep track of what you pick.

The flowers are sold by the stem and range from 10/$1.00 (lavender) to $3.00/stem (multi-blooming lilies and roses). Bulk pricing is available upon request.  Purchases are made with cash or by check on an honor system.
