by A.A. Milne
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
"Winter is dead."
Spring has arrived at Old Mission Flowers and we are energized by the cheeriness of the daffodils. These little beacons serve two purposes. They make me happy as I do the spring weeding, and they mark the underground watering system so that I don't puncture it with a fork or a shovel EVER again!
The tulips will be up next and we are happy to see that the peonies and roses survived the winter. The lilies are breaking through too!
We plan to open soon so check our blog for updates!
Hope to see you soon!
